Breast lift surgery may be performed in a few different ways depending on placement of the incisions. The most common breast lift technique requires 3 incisions: one around the areola, one placed vertically from the bottom edge of the nipple to the crease under the breast and the third along the natural curve of the breast crease. Dr Sproule will assist his Whitby brest lift patients decide which incisions are most appropriate.
Once the excess skin is removed, the nipple will be repositioned, the skin previously located above the nipple is pulled down and a new incision will be made to make to mark the new position for the nipple.
